Privacy Notice & Cookies Policy

Your personal information

We will never use your personal information for any purpose other than responding to enquiries you make via the Helpdesk, or in regard to the provision of products and services as requested by you. That means we do not sell information or lists to other organisations under any circumstances.

Please contact us via info@workpro.com if you have any questions or concerns regarding your personal information. You can also request that your details are erased or rectified at any time.

When you use the Workpro Helpdesk information is stored in our Helpdesk and our Issue Tracking systems. This is to ensure that we have a record of the enquiry and can respond appropriately. Information about your enquiry and your contact will be retained in the system. The information we store is limited to that necessary to respond to your enquiry.

Other personally identifiable information

Your Workpro system may store other kinds of Personal Information or Personally Identifiable Information (PII) in relation to your business. As you’re entering enquiries and other kinds of data, we ask that you don’t avoid adding this information to the Helpdesk.

Cookies

When entering the Helpdesk website your computer will automatically be issued with 'cookies'. A cookie is a small file, typically of letters and numbers, placed on your computer when you access the site.

Within the Helpdesk, we use cookies for two purposes:

  • Ensuring that users are authenticated: cookies are stored by your browser when you login, and then checked when you perform other activities
  • Anonymous tracking of user activity using Google Analytics and FullStory. CAS uses these tools to understand your experience of using the Helpdesk by securely storing anonymised recordings of your actions within our Helpdesk website.

You can accept or refuse cookies. You must accept cookies with the Workpro Helpdesk to be able to login.

To opt out of being tracked by Google Analytics across ALL websites visit tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.

Note that CAS excludes sensitive information (for example names, email address, tickets descriptions and any attachments to the tickets, messages inside tickets, ticket summaries and billing information). All recordings are completely erased on a monthly basis.

Accessibility

We have built this site to conform to W3C standards for XHTML and CSS, and we strive to achieve AA accessibility rating against the web content accessibility 1.0 (WCAG). This means our site will be viewable by the widest ranges of devices both now and in the future.

We want to make this website as accessible as possible. Please let us know if there is anything, we could do to make it easier for you to access it.

Screen readers and PDAs

Navigation and content are available even if you do not have Javascript activated. We have built into our site a 'skip links' tag for standard screen readers to offer users an option to skip directly to the content of the page if they so choose.

Press 'Enter' if using Internet Explorer for Windows PC - other browsers go to the page immediately.

Data protection registration

CAS is registered with the ICO to handle personal data in the performance of our business in accordance with the UK Data Protection legislation and current EU directive. CAS has also adopted best practice by implementing and operating an Information Security Management System that has been certified and awarded the international recognised standard ISO 27001:2013.

Lawful Requests for Transfer of Data

Please note that if a lawful request is received from a government or legal authority CAS may be obliged to disclose some information: this would be in accordance with the request only.
